Prescription Glasses Guide

Has anyone used glasses2you when buying specs on the internet? The reason I ask is that I've heard so many mixed reviews about this company I just wanted to get something straight from the horses mouth, so to speak. I'm a little apprehensive about buying my first pair of glasses online as my neighbour ordered some last year from a company called 'Selectspecs' and received such poor service and shoddy glasses from them that she swore she'd never buy online again. My problem is that I'm housebound so I rely on having this kind of service available to me.

Hopefully I will be able to post a reply as a member of the glasses2you team!

If I can offer some advise when ordering online:

- make sure there is a phone number and that you can easily speak to someone

- also check that any emails are quickly and courtiously replied to

- type in the comany name into google and check out any reviews that may exisit for that company. Trust pilot or dooyoo are amongst some review site you can go to.

There are some good comanies out there and some bad ones, so you need to be sure of who you are dealing with.

I'm typing this whilst wearing a pair of specs from G2U which I've had for well over a year.  They have been abused, dropped, swung about and generally
treated with contempt, and they're still ging strong.

AND they were only about £20.00.  I deliberately bought a cheap and cheerful pair, not knowing whether they, or the company, would be any good.
